The traditional Scarperia Zouave in Ebony Wood
The Scarperia Zuava is an antique knife named after the ancient French military corps of the Zouaves. Exclusively handmade since the late 1800s, it is the undisputed symbol of the centuries-old tradition of knifemaking in Scarperia. An indispensable tool for cutting, eating, working, and hunting, a close friend never parted with, it was jealously guarded and considered very personal, accompanying entire generations in daily life until it became completely useless. The classic version, with its 3 mm satin-finish stainless steel blade and distinctive handle of fine boxwood, expertly crafted and inlaid with steel plates, is a sturdy, reliable yet lightweight knife, making it easy to carry in a pocket. At 19.5 cm when open, it can easily be used as an everyday pocket knife.
