Damascus Steel Blade Knives

Home » Damascus Steel Blade Knives

This ancient processing technique that arrived in Europe from Japan in the Middle Ages consists of forging a package of previously welded steel and iron laminates using a mallet, bending and riveting them together until the steel is layered.
A tempering of the right hardness allows to work the blade, obtaining a fine and resistant cut like a common steel.
The manufacturing process itself, as on any other type of steel, ends with an acid bath so that the typical damask designs can resurface, the final polishing will allow the blade to enhance this unique feature to the maximum.
