The "Scarperia" Chestnut Handle Table and Steak Knife, with its distinctive century-old outline, is one of the most traditional models in the Artigiano di Scarperia product range. Today, it is still crafted using traditional techniques. The blade is sheared from a stock sheet, i.e. obtained using a cold working process called blanking, while the handle is fashioned with a distinctly traditional shape from a single piece of wood. The smooth-edged blade makes for a simply perfect cut, allowing the food to be cut without applying pressure and preventing its juices from escaping, thus preserving the meat's texture and flavour. A unique steak knife that makes a simple gesture, such as cutting, a moment of genuine pleasure.
