The historic Aquilano knife is one of the oldest in the Abruzzo tradition, as evidenced by reports of findings in L'Aquila and surrounding areas. It was the shepherd's knife par excellence, hence associated with the dominant occupation of the time, and its working role was of primary importance. Today, it remains distinguished by its sinuous shape and elegance – a truly beautiful knife in the Italian tradition.
