Mugello Regional Hunting Knife cm 24
The Caccia Mugello folding knife is made from fine ox horn, deer or wood, its leaf-shaped blade is in 440c stainless steel, 3 mm thick and 11 cm long, the handle is equipped with plates and has a traditional locking system with simple spring.
The hunting knife from the Mugello Region
The Mugello hunting knife with ox horn handle is the typical hunting knife. In Scarperia it was already in production and use since the early twentieth century; the older models were equipped with extractors, which disappeared with the advent of modern rifles. This is a spring-loaded folding knife with a liner frame handle, which is usually fitted with fine cow-horn or wooden scales and is particularly sturdy and popular for uses other than hunting.
